According to my grandmother, plenty of generations before mine survived without a Kitchenaid stand mixer. Apparently, they cooked and baked everything by hand, all while juggling 6 kids and a farm. Heh. Who knew? Say what you want, but there’s just no way I’m whisking anything by hand for 10 minutes. To me, the mixer is a total game-changer for any kitchen and we’ve got a shiny one to give away to one of you.

My favorite holiday film is The Family Man w/ Nick Cage and TÊa Leoni. It is a bit similar to a Wonderful Life. I just love this film – the way that the movie tells a story about love and family in a modern light hearted way – I laugh and cry every time I watch.

One of my favs from childhood is the really old “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” with Burl Ives narrating. When that aired, you knew it was Christmas time!
