The 12 Days of Homemade Christmas 2010
Looking for recipes for your Christmas goodie baskets? We’ve got 12 Days of Homemade Christmas Gift Ideas coming your way! Up first? A recipe for Swirled Chocolate Peppermint Bark.
The contrast is beautiful. 3 pounds total of white and dark chocolates, swirled together, and topped with crushed peppermint (or any favorite Christmas candy… or no candy at all). The hardest part of this recipe: waiting for it to set before you can break off a piece.
Loosely wrap the pieces of chocolate bark in tissue or parchment paper and give them to your friends and family. I’m a big fan of the Christmas tins that you can find for $1 at Target, Hobby Lobby, or Michael’s. My Kroger also carries these pretty holiday lunch bag-style bags, 5/$1, that are perfect for holding your homemade holiday goodies.
I made this for friends last year, and the LOVED it! They are actually resisting my attempts to make new stuff this year.
These look beautiful (and tasty)!!! I have been trying to figure out what else I plan to make for people! Looking forward to your future 12 Days of homemade posts!!!
