The beginning of the end.
Our craptastic 1970’s galley kitchen is on its way out. We really did try to make it work. As you can see, we scraped off 30+ years of paint and attempted to refinish the cabinet doors. She truly was a lost cause.
Repeating to myself, “The drywall dust everywhere is worth it. It’s worth it…”
I’ve been through this so many times (mon mari loves renovating anything) I just keep saying “What’s life without sheetrock dust?”
And it gets into everything everywhere….
Can’t wait to see the finished product!
Trust me, the drywall dust everywhere is worth it. WELL worth it.
My advice: invest in professional duct/vent cleaning when you’re done with the remodel. Your lungs will thank you when you go to turn the heat on this winter. 🙂
Good luck, and share pictures of the process.
Good luck!!!!!!! I haven’t really started my kitchen reno yet, but I’m excited to see what you’re going to come up with!!!!
