Who else has tequila and limes at the top of their weekend shopping list? Since Cinco de Mayo falls on a Saturday this year (woohoo!), I’m preparing for a big weekend. I’ve already stocked the freezer with 3 jars full of lime juice for next weekend’s festivities.
We’re mashing together a pool party with our Cinco celebration. Because what sounds like a better idea than drinking and swimming in a pool with no lifeguard on duty? I’m still hammering out the final details on our menu, leaning toward things that I can prep ahead of time (or at least do most of the prep work) and is easy to serve rewarmed or at room temp. I know there will be queso, guacamole, and plenty of margaritas.
I probably don’t need anything else 🙂

Goodness, there are so many yummy recipes here. I’m in love!
Oh my gosh, I am so freakin’ excited for next weekend! I am having a fiesta as well! I just finished up my menu so now the 5th just needs to get here.
I’m coming to your house for cinco de mayo!
Any excuse for a tasty party right? 🙂
Cinco de Mayo…. my favorite holiday!!!! Preparations for our annual “Cinco de Wiley” celebration are in full force… I was a little stumped on the menu b/c I try to change it up every year to keep our friends guessing, but you’ve given me some new inspiration!! Too bad we don’t live in the same city – we could throw one killer party together! 😉
This is a post to bookmark and then use for a year’s worth of Mexican- / Tex-Mex- themed celebrations. Love it!
As you know, I’ve been waiting for that pineapple recipe for almost a year! Cannot wait.
What a fun bunch of margarita recipes! I didn’t realize you had so many. I’ve got to replenish my tequila and get going on some of these! I’ve tried your blood orange and jalapeno-cucumber varieties already… both fabulous!
Wahoo! Yummy, thank you for sharing them all with us.
I’ve been eating tex-mex inspired food nonstop lately and, not gonna lie…I blame you for it. And by blame I mean thank eternally. 😛
That Texas tortilla soup looks really good.
WOW! This is an amazing collection!
